Lazada Philippines: The most practical forms of payment available online

Get your pen and paper ready as I tell you the top 4 best methods of payments you should have your eye out for. Online shopping isn’t tricky at all. It’s just as normal as going to the mall to buy your favorite pair of pants. It’s all about knowing what’s available out there and making sure that you don’t settle for a lame payment setup that can lead to a scam. I’ll give you my top 4 picks. Try to see which one fits you best and stick to that when buying online to avoid inconveniences towards the end.

   1.      Cash On Delivery (COD)
It’s as basic as it sounds. Cash on delivery is popularly known as COD or the closest type of transaction to paying over the counter. The positive side about this is that it does not involve any initial cash outs. You can savor your money until your product gets delivered. It is only then that you will be asked to provide the payment. No deposit or down payment to some random account you can’t vouch on.

This is one of my top favorites because it’s the most less hassle. I don’t even know if that makes sense. It pretty much makes every online shopping free from stress. I can purchase anything I want and not have to worry about follow up transactions to secure my order. All I have to do is wait for my order to be delivered and only then will I be forced to deal with the financial aspect of shopping. I have used this method in Zalora and Lazada. With Lazada, I was informed ahead of time before the item was sent out for delivery and the whole process went smoothly.

   2.      Installment
Worried about paying your bills on time? No need to stress on the big amounts when you can distribute the payment up to as long as two (2) years. Banco De Oro currently has this promo in partnership with Lazada where items with a minimum amount of P3000 can be paid in installments with 0% interest. And you thought you always had to pay in full amounts.

   3.      Credit Card
A method of payment Filipinos can never seem to get rid off. Filipinos like to pay on credit. Well, they like to spend even before they get the money. Credit card makes this inevitable attitude of Filipinos manageable. Visa and MasterCard credit cards are normally always entertained in major online stores. Just make sure your online site of choice has some sort of seal of security acknowledging customer safety.

   4.      Bank Transfer
If you’d rather get rid of the money for payment at once so as not to end up spending it (Dispalco is a big NO!), you can do so by depositing ahead of time. Though this sounds a bit sketchy, you always have the option to dig up dirt about your fave online store. This is why it’s always better to order from online stores with a familiar brand to assure you of its authenticity.
