How I defined Lazada as reliable

The world "Reliability" has been loosely used for many reasons. One of it being that people sometimes forget to set the bar high and use this as a standard before declaring something as reliable. Friends immediately assume that everyone they like around them are reliable just because there's that peace of mind being around the person. But reliability can only be proven through a battery of tests. A specific person, item, place etc should be put to a test before being declared as reliable. Otherwise, it loses its value and just becomes an ordinary adjective with no deeper meaning like the words cold, hot, good etc.

Before I referred to Lazada as reliable, I made sure it possessed all the necessary functions and services that I have set up prior to getting involved with the said website. I tested it on three things. Product Quality, Customer Service and of course, Product Pricing.

Product Pricing always comes as a first concern. A person seeks for affordable item rates to know if they can purchase the item in the first place. But like any other item in Divisoria or a neighborhood ukay-ukay, things that come cheap are normally associated with poor quality. But this isn't always the case. You would be surprised how many of my things at home were bought for less than half the price and these are the things that last longer than those big piece items I invest and spend more on. Lazada proved to be reliable in this area because the orders they give out remain sealed until the day of delivery. Also, all items that malfunction or are of the wrong description can be returned, replaced and refunded. They also reimburse any fees that were paid for like the delivery costs used for shipping back the items. Product Pricing is a marketing strategy but it doesn't always mean it's less of what it is in terms of quality and performance.

Product Quality then becomes a big concern after knowing the item's price. A person gets assurance from warranties and Lazada offers such up to two years. If the 14-day return policy like I mentioned earlier isn't enough to win over the customer, they provide additional customer warranty for anyone who needs for a small additional fee.

Customer Service then tops everything as it is seen as the cherry on top. Sometimes customers stress over the price and the quality too much that they lose interest on the kind of service they receive. This is understandable but why not experience or a establish a good relationship with the seller at the same time if by chance you end up buying from him or her again. Good customer service guarantees a higher customer return rate because this seals the deal between the buyer and the seller. Once the customer feels comfortable with the seller, he or she will more likely feel safe buying from the said establishment than anywhere else. Reliability is a strong word that people forget to give value to. But I find it essential to look at these three sections before deeming something as reliable.
