Falling In Love with Lazada

Online marketing has yet to be properly defined but personally, I immediately think of online shopping as one of its top benefactors. Maybe there’s a bit of bias because of how obsessed I am with shopping online. But if you think about it, a huge factor that helps e-commerce websites fully reach its potential is its visibility and I definitely ended up loving my favorite online shopping websites because of how frequent I either heard or read about it.

I was never a victim of online advertisements. For one thing, I do very little activity when I’m online. But ultimately, I have just been victimized far too many times by online viruses to even risk clicking on a link no matter how drawn to it or curious I am.

I saw commercial advertisements of Lazada Philippines numerous times on both ABS-CBN and GMA, read about it a couple of times on print before I was slightly pushed to check it out. But it was my sister’s non-stop storytelling about her good finds online that made me want to find a website of my very own. Yes, I claim ownership but only because I have so many times in the site that I don’t even remember when I wasn’t buying online. Ok, maybe I do but you get it.

A lot of the items are always on discount and it also doesn’t hurt that it has cash on delivery payment method. I don’t own a credit card yet. So the only preferable payment option for me is to pay in cash. This also helps me to keep track of my expenses since I only have my allowance to spend.

Lazada for all those hearing it for the first time is an online shopping MALL. Yes, emphasis on the mall because it isn’t just an amateur site that sells a single nature of product. It basically sells majority of what you see in the malls you visit. It carries clothes, beauty products, books, music and movies, gadgets even appliances. It pretty much has a little bit of everything. Well, a lot of everything.

But what I like most about it are its promos. It has the best sales. The good ones normally last for only a few hours in a day. You’d need to sign up to its newsletter to receive updates but unlike the other subscriptions, this one actually makes you a winner from the moment you register. Signing up gives you a free P200 voucher. I rest my case. Some of the sales come out of the blue so it’s best to get daily updates to not miss out.

It has over 20,000 products all ranging from what an infant might need to what you’d want to get as a gift for your grandparents happily travelling the world. I like it because it has a lot of variety and since I’m not very good with taking note of websites, Lazada keeps it simple for me. I don’t have to jump from one site to another because it has everything I need for my age at least. It’s my best bet so far. And with how e-commerce is growing, I’m guessing there’s so much more to look forward to in the years to come.

My First Online Experience with Lazada Philippines

Buying online is a great experience especially if you’re trying to try something new. It’s anything but traditional because online shopping definitely requires more risk and trust. If you’re very prone to belittling the capacity of online shopping websites when it comes to providing a secure and safe environment for its shoppers then you should probably try it at least once to know what you’re missing out on.

The world has immensely progressed and with that comes along the inevitable growth technology has flawlessly proven advantageous to many if not all. But of course with such growth comes more risk and danger. Companies that ensure protection from awful possibilities have also become very popular through the years. After all, a huge number of the world’s population relies on the power of the Internet. And Filipinos are luckily one of the progressing countries blessed to experience this evolution. And it would be a shame to let it just walk by without getting a taste of what it has to offer.

My very first experience shopping online happened by accident. I was reading through my files in my email when I received a forwarded message from a friend who signed up for Lazada. I wasn’t interested at first but out of sheer boredom, I decided to see it for myself. I’ve seen it several times on television and magazines and only time would tell until my curiosity would get the best of me and I would end up checking it out for myself.

I’ve heard of Ebay and I knew the moment I saw Lazada that is was a local clone of it. If not directly a clone, Ebay played a huge influence on its evolution and development. I read about it after and like I guessed, it was. While I was looking through the site, I saw a lot of products I was quickly drawn to. But what I almost immediately liked was an underwater camera that cost less than a thousand. Of course like any first timer, I wasn’t willing to risk so much money with my first try. So I bought something less than what I was willing to lose. I bought the camera and paid through ash on delivery. It seemed like the safest option then. I really couldn’t see a negative side to waiting for my item to be delivered before paying.

When it was delivered, I had to pay an extra P55 for delivery but that wasn’t an issue at all. I was just happy to finally get my hands on the camera that I forgot about how it was my first time. Since then, I have made it clear to my friends how shopping online was an experience I was definitely willing to try more than once. Since then, I’ve bought almost every month. But each time, I would buy something over a thousand to be able to avail the website’s free delivery. All deliveries over a thousand were given free delivery. Overall, I’m grateful I tried it out. I got my hands on a number of cool things at discounted rates.

Lazada Makes a Difference in More Ways than One

It takes a huge following for a venture to fully flourish but that wasn’t a concern for the award-wining shopping website, Lazada Philippines. In a year’s span, it was able to win over a over a million in fan base that made it the most talked about consumer brand on Facebook at one point. But it’s the online shopping mall’s ability to make its customers feel comfortable and at home that makes it such a sanctuary for many online shoppers.

This year, it started off bigger than ever with countless promos one after the other. One thing that stands out about the online website is its line of services including a reliable list of payment options that open up a bigger audience for the website. It has methods of payments from cash based options to paying on credit. Customers can freely customize his or her preference in accomplishing transactions especially with one of the newest addition, BDO Installment made possible by Banco De Oro. This method allows up to 2 years in payment varying from 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months of equal monthly installments.

For online shoppers who are hesitant because of doubts on the security certain shopping websites have, there are now various ways of measuring just how safe an online site is. For Lazada, it joins forces with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) as it successfully passed the Self Assessment Questionnaire and PCI DSS Security Scan by the well-respected security company. This certifies that the online site is protected from any exposure to hackers or any activities involving the danger of customer security.

A lot of Filipinos live fast paced lives and with that comes the need to make the best out of every free time they have. Online shopping websites do much more than give lazy teenagers a gateway to better access on shopping. It serves a purpose and one of its most important relevance in the culture and lifestyle Filipinos have now is its ability to reach out to families and make an impression any way possible.

I have been a fan of online shopping for a few years now. And although I do not belong to the population I mentioned above, I have witnessed it make wonderful impacts on the lives of my loved ones. I have a friend in Kentucky who has been away for more than four years now. He has made it clear to his family that his only reason for being apart from them for so long is his dire need to get legal residency. But despite it being generally for the benefit of his family so he can get them after, it pains him to see his children growing without him in the picture. He has made use of online sites to reach out to his two sons. He sends them gifts and gets them delivered directly to his house in Pasay. This way, he can make his children feel remembered on the most normal days. He sends gifts when his son makes it to the top of his class that makes both him and his son every bit closer.

Maximizing Your Free Time with Online Shopping

Finding a good way to spend your free time can be very challenging especially when you only have a few minutes to make it count. I for one have mastered the art of doing so much in so little time.

Going shopping can be a total bore especially when you come home empty-handed. We allocate generously on shopping and regret it halfway through because we predict the day ending badly. Some women just know what they want and having to walk in circles in a mall hoping to find something to slightly similar to what they have in mind can be very exhausting.

But women of this generation have so much more to celebrate about. Women today were highly considered in the creation of many e-commerce ventures. Women do most of the shopping and with that in mind, shopping malls online were created specifically to make shopping an entirely new experience for them. No more breaking a sweat. Online shopping malls were designed to make an errand once seen as time-consuming as what it has become now. Convenient.

There are numerous e-commerce websites in the online market. But it’s all about narrowing it down to the best. It’s not about making the website work for you. With so many options today, it has come to the point where you find a website that compliments you. Because you’ll be surprised just how perfect some e-commerce ventures have become due to their undeniable ability to provide the best of the best.

Lazada Philippines is ultimately my first online stopover every time I go online. I like mixing my fashion-related errands with my household chores. This means I need a lot of variety. But very few websites are successful in combining both types of products. Providing an equally wide selection per category requires more goods in stock. And Lazada is a natural when it comes to coming up with the best collections.

To make manipulating a website easy, it’s highly advisable to have a very well articulated division in products. Finding a dime in a dozen can be infuriating unless it’s possible to just key in what you like to easily access the item of your choice. Lazada has a search bar just for that. Customers can fill out the search bar with keywords like brands, colors, etc. and increase the chances of finding what they like faster. Not all online shopping websites have this feature but I suggest you find something close to this one because an online mall with thousands of products won’t be serving its purpose for convenience and will not be any different from walking from store to store in an actual mall.

Online Shopping has become very useful and Filipinos now have the opportunity to take part in this innovation. But if there’s one thing I definitely find hard to miss when I shop online, it’s the fact that a lot more websites sell the products I like in very affordable prices. Something you would inevitably notice when you start shopping online too.
