Lazada: Popularity VS Reliability

Popularity plays a huge factor in a company’s sales. After all, no sale will take place if the company is not accessible. But popularity does not always translate to reliability. To be able to point a company as trustworthy, certain precautions or reviews must be taken into consideration. But with everything being so fast paced today, who has the time to make all these necessary researches? Not a lot of people see how vital a research about something is but I can’t blame them. I’m sometimes forgetful to its importance too that I sometimes just rely on pure instinct whether or not the brand I’m buying from is worth the risk.

There are so many websites out there that have proven this theory of mine, LAZADA being one of it. Lazada is a website that holds a variety of brands and products all from one regular working website. I have always believed that human beings are naturally drawn to doing things that require less effort making online shopping such a good alternative to actual malling (most of the time, window shopping). Lazada is owned by an online venture builder company by the _____ brothers who are originally based in Berlin, Germany. It has created various sites that specialize on different products. Lazada, however, vacuumed all other concepts to create one giant website capable of serving more than just one nature of product.

This online site has a lot of promos available for every purchase like the 7-day policy, Promise seal, methods of payments and warranties. The 7-day policy gives a customer an entire week before completely losing ties with the website. Though certain terms and conditions apply, the majority of the favor is on the customer’s part. As long as the items returned pass the quality testing then a refund will likely happen and take place. The quality testing team determines whether the item was broken to begin with or is because of the negligence of the customer. The Promise Seal assures customers that the delivery process will not last centuries but 5 days at the most. If the items are not declared out of the warehouse within 24 days (for customers who ordered on a weekday), then the customers will be given complimentary gift certificates to compensate for failing to abide by its promise of delivering the goods on time. That is my favorite promo by far. The methods of payments consist of two types. One is through cash payment that can be done using cash on delivery. The company receives the payment right after the delivery takes place. The other one is through credit card usage. Any Visa or MasterCard credit card holders are mostly the ones who benefit from the promos. Most of the promos give out discounts on credit card holders so it’s considerably the best bet when buying. Either of the two can be trusted. It depends on what you feel is more comfortable for you. Then they have a 2-year warranty available for every item purchased.

If it’s only reliability that is questioned then Lazada Online Mall definitely is guilty.
