I
considered shopping online after my friend linked me to a website that offered
the watch I liked for a much cheaper price. It wasn’t that I never wanted to
try it. It was just I never got around it because I never knew which sites were
safe enough to check out.
I
have always wanted a Casio watch and for what it’s worth, I have never bought
any piece of jewelry or watch for myself in the entire 7 years I have been
working. I just never thought it was something worth investing on considering
how people normally think I’m gay. I thought getting a watch that looked sleek,
current and affordable would help amp up my image giving a more lady-like
exterior.
While
I was with my friend at Eastwood, she mentioned about how she got her watch
online and if I was interested, I should check it out. I checked it out using
my phone but it directed me to a mobile download link. I didn’t have enough
battery to power up my internet so I had to postpone it until I got home.
After
work, I drove home and switched open my laptop almost immediately excited to
see just how good the deals my friend was talking about. That was the first
time I ever spent more than an hour just looking through a bunch of stuff for
no apparent reason with the intention of actually buying. And that was also the
first time I explored Lazada Philippines as if I have been doing it for quite
some time. For a moment, I was completely distracted that I even forgot about
my initial purpose, which was to buy a watch.
The
website was very well equipped with the latest gadgets. And being the unusual
type of girl, I have invested immensely on electronics. The Consumer
Electronics section reflected so much of what I like that I couldn’t look away.
It was especially harder when I saw the PSP Vita on sale. I wasn’t just
impressed it was on sale. I was ecstatic seeing the original price being a lot
cheaper that what it normally costs when displayed in malls.
I
was also in luck when I checked it out. It was just starting its holiday season
promos when I saw so many interesting products on discount up to half the
original prices. None of it spoke to me directly but I sure was greatly swayed
because of the insane marked down prices.
I
ended up buying a Mossimo watch on sale for 30%. It wasn’t what I primarily had
in mind but it was beautifully encrusted for something so priced low that knew
I would regret not getting it when I still had the chance.
As
oppose to shopping in malls, I would definitely have to say that I’d much
rather check out online first before exhausting my energy walking around store
to store. It saves time not to mention energy. And I’m definitely categorized
as one of the boys when it comes to shopping given how I can’t take so long
doing it.
