Lazada Philippines took care of my fashion emergency- A Review

I love shopping for clothes online. Recently I have gotten into Lazada Philippines and have been getting my clothes from them.  I am into fashion big time, I can’t bear to be seen donned in the same outfit twice. That is a no-no for me and in itself a fashion faux-pas. My current line of work in an advertising firm allows me to enjoy my fashion proclivities on a regular basis given the fact that our office does not impose a strictly corporate dress code. The theme in the office if I am going to put it into words is “be yourself”.

I am not a fashion victim either, I don’t buy clothes just because of trends. As much as possible, I would like to stay away from that kind of fashion trap. My fashion mantra is comfort, fit, form and function. The clothes that I am wearing should be comfortable and should not get in the way of my work while at the same time being unique and completely different from what everyone else is wearing. To look different and unique, I usually try to mix and match stuff from my closet. During weekends, my favorite pastime is digging through my closet to look for clothes that I have not worn in a while and match them with my recent purchases. I would spend hours and hours wearing them in-front of my mirror like a little fashion show. Also, I keep tabs of combinations that I really love in a journal. I would draw the clothes, shoes and accessories on my journal and put a date when I am going to wear them just to make sure that I don’t wear the same set twice. It is a tedious practice but I have gotten used to it and it is really not that tedious for me anymore because I love what I am doing. For the past months, I have been getting my fashion fix from Lazada because of its convenience. It’s so easy to place an order plus the items arrive no later than five days. A couple of weeks ago I ordered something modest looking to wear for our fun theme day. The theme is business casual (so much for a fun theme day). I looked around Lazada Ph as usual and went through all the women’s fashion pages. It took me several hours to pick one up that will suit my fancy because of the vast array of great choices.

After several self- deliberations and consultations with my girlfriends, I decided to settle a green MALDITA dress which is as modest as I want it to be without looking square. I paid for it using my credit card and had it shipped out to my office address. It arrived after three business days like it used to. It was quite a busy day at the office when it was delivered so I simply accepted the package and signed the receipt. I didn’t have the opportunity to check the box if it was the right color and size. When I got home, I found out that they sent me an orange dress instead of the green one that I picked out. I called customer service to complain and the guy told me that I just need to fill out a return form and they will take care of it. True enough the replacement dress arrived several days later from the time I returned the item. They even reimbursed me for the shipping cost I incurred for returning it through my credit card.

Resident Evil 6 spreads horror in Lazada- A Review

I am a born gamer so it’s not surprising if my purchase records in Lazada Philippines will reveal that 90% of my orders are gaming related. I am also a huge fan of the Zombie genre. If it’s a zombie movie, chances are I have already seen it. Today I am going to share my thoughts on my most recent acquisition: The Resident evil 6 for X Box.  Resident Evil 6 is a Survival game in the Horror game genre that keeps on the survival fight against the trademark zombie creating virus, whilst pushing the envelope a bit further by incorporating some new game functionality. Avid gamers will enjoy a multi-faceted gaming experience, emphasized by the capability to pick between three scenarios that present a smorgasbord of characters and interlaced storylines. Inside the scenes, stories and action collides with each other. The added features involve of course zombies, new enemies, upgradable weapons and characters, vehicle options. A Mercenaries mode game plus single player and co-op play options.

With the concatenation of action and horror, Resident Evil 6 assures gamers of very intense horror gaming experience. Resident Evil mainstays Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are going to be tagged along by new characters that include Jake Muller, to go against a new face of terror, the highly contagious C-virus, as the chronicle moves in between North America, the strife-ravaged Eastern European city of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang. Riding along will be presidential aide Derek Simmons, who pledges to hunt down Leon for his participation in the President's death, and femme fatale Ada Wong.

Resident Evil 6 has three distinctive, albeit interwoven story lines, with each one having their own pair of heroes for either solo or co-op play, that can be played offline and online. Resident Evil 6 delivers both different standpoints and gameplay panaches. Also, with the introduction of the ground-breaking Crossover gameplay concept, players will have the ability to band up and partake of the sheer horror. During crucial moments of the game, up to four players can gang-up together online to take on a particular situation, with other game levels having the standard team-ups getting switched to increase the profundity of gameplay. Below are some of the awesome features of the game:

•    Depravity and Diabolicalness on a World-Wide Level – The terror is no longer limited to a particular location, the plague of the C-virus is worldwide with the action happening in North America, Eastern Europe and China
•    A Hodgepodge Characters and Interlaced story threads – Get a first-hand taste of the terror playing as Leon S. Kennedy, BSAA member Chris Redfield, and son of Albert Wesker, Jake Muller; with their sidekicks US government agent Helena Harper, BSAA member Piers Nivans and Sherry Birkin
•    Story and Action collides with each other – At crucial parts when the plot draws sets of characters together, the ground-breaking Crossover mechanic provides the ability for up to four players to taste the vileness together online
•    You can do it Solo or Co-op - Resident Evil 6 features both single and two player co-op gameplay  offline or online
•    A fresh set of challenges - tackle the outcomes of the C-virus in all its mottled and noxious forms
*Zombies return to the Resident Evil series, and they can now run, spring at players and utilize weapons that make them more challenging to deal with than the previous releases.
*The adversary creatures identified as J'avo first surfaced out in the strife zone of Eastern Europe and have the uncanny capability to regenerate when wounded; On top of that if J'avo take on extensive injury to a specific spot, it can mutate that particular body part into a goulash of different forms, In this case, the participants will have to reconsider their approach and acclimatize to this volatility
*The C-virus has also spawned Chrysalide, which brings the mutation progression a notch higher as they undergo a full-on metamorphosis; spawning a whole gang of horrendous characters.
•    Do it your way – You can do upgrades to have faster reload speed, increased firepower or improve your health bar with the character skill system
•    Vehicle Action - Resident Evil 6 features gameplay involving vehicles such as motorbikes, cars and snowmobiles
•    Re-introduction of the mercenaries mode – Fans can enjoy the highly popular mercenaries mode again.
•    Language Voiceovers - Resident Evil 6 will include fully voice overs in German, French, Spanish, Italian and English. Also includes subtitles in Russian, Portuguese, Brazilian, Polish  and Japanese
•    You can now unlock Ada wong- After you have completed the initial three stages,  the game will reveal a new campaign that features Resident Evil’s femme fatale, Ada Wong.

Evil won’t get as enjoyable as this one. Get your Resident Evil 6 only at the Philippines’ online shopping mall Lazada Philippines.

Start fresh with Lazada Philippines- A Review

When The Social Network came out, I was one of the first few people who saw it in theatres. My brother’s company gave out tickets so I had the chance to watch it the day it was released. I have this slight obsession with anything related online. I wanted to pursue Information Technology before but didn’t see myself pursuing it long term. I ended up graduating with a degree on Marketing which I don’t regret at all. I just wish I didn’t give up on something I wanted just because it was unlikely for someone like me to take it. When like pages became popular on Facebook and ordinary people even those younger than me started publishing online sites of their own, I joined in by making an accessory page. I make accessories whenever I’m fee and during my second year in college, I supported myself with revenues from that hobby. I was doing that the same time I was constantly posting pictures I take and edit on Tumblr. I got into blogging a few months after that. But because of my thesis, I didn’t have time to spare anymore so eventually, I lost track of my accounts. After all those online addictions, you’d think I’d give up but nope, I apparently was just getting started. Just two days ago, I ordered Lock & Lock cases from Lazada Philippines. I have been ordering online non-stop since I got a hold of my debit card. It wasn’t because I was bored and I had nothing better to do with my money. It was more of because I got drawn to the numerous sales online shops would offer on a daily basis. Discounted trips, sales, promos, etc. caused my card to burn out and resurrect each time a new sale would come up. I got a bit weirded out at first when I ordered from an online shop I would rather keep anonymous. She asked me for a down payment and I was only able to reply about the meet up a couple of days after I deposited the money to her account. I got her message late because of my broken track pad. When I inquired when we could meet, she said that my order was void already because they had a specific number of days only from day of payment for claiming. I didn’t know then that I had the right to demand for a refund so basically, I got ripped off. Because of that incident, I make sure that I only buy from websites that are DTI registered. Lazada’s one of the few websites I trust because not only do they register under DTI but they also have other branches in Singapore, India, etc. Their website is very user-friendly especially to first timers. They have an interface that suggests most of what you would like and payment methods that have easy to understand instructions. You won’t have a hard time finding because you’d see their banners flashed before you in almost every website you visit whether Philippine based or something international. Start fresh this 2013 and try out online shopping. It might just be what you need.

Lazada’s quality guidance- A Review

Yesterday, I had the weirdest dream that I was in a bubble house where everything I touched pop from the sheets I was using to the toaster oven in the kitchen. I tried looking for the meaning online but I couldn’t find an appropriate interpretation that was fit for my dream. While I was browsing through countless pages, I saw an ad by Lazada Philippines and wondered what they had that I would want or like. I saw a Bobbi Brown makeup tutorial book and having just taken classes from Makeup Forever, it was just the bible I needed to get me started on what I wanted to pursue but what my parents referred to as just my past time. I ordered right away with it being only less than a thousand that half of my weekly allowance could cover. The number of days of shipment was said to range from 3-5 days from day of payment but a week has passed already and the package still hasn’t arrived my house. I called up customer service to follow up on my order but upsettingly, my order apparently wasn’t submitted properly. I still haven’t figured up to now if it was their system or my internet that was at fault. But considering our internet was already a mess prior to the time I ordered so              I was half-hearted when I blamed Lazada. The man who was in charge of my papers in customer service process my paper in 2 days, the book got delivered to me. Yes, it was annoying that I had to go through that to get my order but I was impressed with how quick they were able to resolve my problem. Most companies I know would require paper work or more than 2 working days before filed complaints are fully processed. Despite the unfortunate incident, I still comment the service of Lazada because not all companies, especially international ones with so much on their plate can comply with customer complaints in such a rush. I’m guessing that because they managed to address my concerns immediately that they don’t have any special or VIP treatments given that I was a first timer then. They’re just starting and slowly but surely they are able to fix the kind of service they can render. I am very much aware of the fact that this kind of thing takes time to perfect but any company I see is aiming for something like that surely gets my vote.

Anyway, I still don’t know the reason behind my dream but I’m interpreting it as I have to appreciate the little things and take care of the stuff I have regardless if the item is fragile or not. And I’m guessing the effort of the customer service and the book I just bought should be the start of this kind of change. I also suggest you guys by the book by Bobbi Brown especially if you’re aspiring to be a make-up artist. I know a lot of people who didn’t have professional training and are great at putting on make-up.

Lazada Review: Essential factors in online shopping

Online shopping is an innovative form of purchasing goods that eliminates the stress of being physically present just to do so, but many people often question the reliability of the process of how it is done.  Admittedly, there are some fraudulent sellers and untrustworthy buyers that lurk around the web or faulty systems of the payment process, or the goods being damaged as it is shipped, or the apocalypse coming at the date of delivery. There are a lot of things that can go wrong just as easily as it does when you shop the traditional way, but at least you can be in the comfort of your own home and just as when you shop in the ‘conventional’ way, doing it in a smart manner goes a long way.
1.)    LOCATION IS KEY. Consumers should be wary of the sites they go to just as they would when they go out to flea markets and the like.
    2.)    COMMUNICATION IS ESSENTIAL. Self-explanatory.
3.)    DON’T EASILY BE SWAYED BY BARGAINS. Not all bargains are good bargains. The quality of the product should be your first priority above all else to make purchases that really give you bang for your buck.

Reliable shopping can be done wherever but in this day in age why go through the hassle if you can avoid it?

That’s why online shopping becomes more advisable now more than ever. Compared to having to go to different places to scout for the exact same thing, now, you can do all that in the comforts of your home through online shopping. One type of e-commerce is online shopping where you make transactions over the internet. You can make this in different ways. You can pay through your debit/credit card, over the counter in banks like Bank of the Philippines, Banco de Oro, Metrobank etc. or pay upon delivery so you can secure yourself that you will receive your item and not feel ripped off. Lazada Philippines is one of the many sites that offer these kinds of payment methods. Since payment seals the deal, it is important for one to feel like they can rely on the process in purchasing their items. For some reason, some people misinterpret online shopping is a scam and though it may seem like it, it takes a completely reckless person to lose track of what they’re buying and be scammed completely. One just has to be aware of the process the same way a person has to be when purchasing offline like in malls or divisoria. Shopping online can give you the opportunity to maximize the time you have as well as your internet usage. You just have to know the essentials in determining the fraud from the authentic e-commerce websites.

Trust the process and when your gut feeling tells you otherwise, there’s no shame in assuring yourself by questioning customer service. Just make sure that you don’t push them into doing exactly what you don’t want them to do to you. You are always free to ask for customer service to elaborate on how exactly purchasing something from their site works.
