Great deals, fun online shopping
experience, secured transactions, ridiculously huge discounts that you won’t
find anywhere else. That is the Lazada Philippines that I come
to know. As an avid online shopper, true blue die hard internet user and a
self-anointed Netizen I am very nit-picky (picky would be an understatement) in
terms of picking out an online shopping company that I would want to shop with.
I just don’t get immediately excited over a new online shopping website and
burn my way through it with some indiscriminate shopping spree. What I do is
that I do my research first on the company that I am trying to shop in. Anyway,
information nowadays is so easy to come by. Information is literally or almost
literally at the tip of our fingers. It is amazing that with just a click of a
mouse button, some typing here and there, the information you want about a
certain online shopping company is just going to pop up in-front of you at a
drop of a hat. That is just so wonderful. So what is Lazada Philippines? Well
Lazada is involved in the business of online shopping or online retailing.
Lazada started out in 2012 with the idea of it to become the Amazon of
Southeast Asia. You might think how can it be possible for Lazada to become the
Amazon.com of Southeast Asia? The answer to that is website cloning. Website
cloning is basically the act of replicating (I do not want to use copying
because of automatic negative connotations of that word) an e-commerce
website’s proven business model and bringing it somewhere else where the
original website has no prior or has very little influence or market share.
This practice is not just restricted to online shopping or e-commerce websites,
in fact it is widely accepted in other industries as well. The technical term
for this cloning practice is business or start-up incubation and the company
that does it is called guess what, a business incubator company. Business
incubators are companies that provide backing to start-ups and other
entrepreneurial companies by utilizing an arsenal of business services and
other resources to put the budding business up to speed, lessen the risks
involved in starting a business and maximize profitability and success. Lazada
Philippines is a start-up e-commerce company created by the online venture
builder Rocket-Internet, a company that does exactly what I described earlier
which is business incubation. Rocket-Internet has more than a decade of venture
building on its glossy resume (I used resume as an allusion to a person with a
proven professional track record) and boasts of both quality and quantity in
terms of the results it produced. I was serious when I said they got both
quality and quantity, you simply just need to look at these statistics: Within
a span of a decade, they have put up over 100 market leading companies with
presence in over 40 countries, 25 offices around the world and 15,000 workers
in its roster. That is why it’s no wonder Lazada is making such huge waves in
the local shopping industry. The rocket that powers it is Rocket-Internet.

Lazada Philippines Review: Building blocks to progress
I
don’t think there’s anything wrong with buying from abroad. But I just don’t
see the reason behind it when the same product you shipped all the way from the
States to the Philippines can be bought from a local seller anyway. If
Filipinos’ way of thinking remains the same and they still see as international
service better than our own, then our local entrepreneurs or businessmen will
never have the chance to prove their worth and help build our economy.
One of the things I find
terribly disturbing and alarming is the number of people who take selling sites
for granted. Some make their very own shopping site out of sheer boredom and
add up to the increasing number of useless online stores. I really like
shopping online and if there’s one thing I hate about searching randomly on
Google specific items I want to buy, it’s going through sites that serve no
purpose. Time is very essential which is why online shopping was created in the
first place. The convenience it brings definitely outshines other manners of
selling not because it’s virtual but because it’s actually effective for a lot
of people especially those sinking deep in workloads.
Lazada Philippines is one of the shopping
sites I know about that actually take pride on their manner of selling. They
have outstanding number of buyers and impeccable selections of products that
people from all walks of life will have an interest in. They have services that
give customers a reason to keep coming back. Their delivery fees vary depending
on certain conditions like amount and location for shipment. But all are within
reason. E-commerce is giving shopping malls and outlet stores a run for their
money. The industry of buying and selling online gives a whole new meaning to
start of the millennium. If before, people were restricted to buy in selected
stores only, now avid shoppers of all ages have the option to get what they
want with half the trouble. Lazada is an international company that
specifically carries brands that Filipinos are familiar with. No brands you
can’t pronounce. Just brands you have actually heard of which is great
considering it’s rare to find a website fitting to Philippine culture or
preferences. If you can’t find it in you to give your support to local
businesses, then you better not be one of those complaining about the inability
of our country’s economy to better.

Up to 48% discount on portable power banks only in Lazada
Recently, Lazada Philippines launched a promotion
called “keep charged and carry on” or I think it might have been also called
“never run out of battery with mobile power banks”. What is a mobile power bank
anyway and why is it making waves right now? You might ask. The rapid progress
of technology and the continuous increase of people who wants to be connected
online have spurred a massive introduction of new digital products such as
iPads, tablet PCs, android/smart phones, cameras, camcorders, gaming consoles,
DVD, MP3, MP4, GPS and other gizmos.
These gadgets need batteries for them to be
portable and mobile and as we all know most of the batteries that come
pre-built as an accessory when you purchase the gadget will not hold up to most
users on the go power requirements. Have you ever been in a situation wherein
you are in a hurry to go someplace else like you are late for a meeting or a
date and you looked at your tablet or mobile phone only to find out a red
battery icon on your tablet screen notifying you that the gadget is about to
shutdown anytime soon and you have to plug it in to a wall socket. Sounds
familiar right? And it is definitely a bummer. That was why some very brilliant
and enterprising individuals came up with the power bank.
A power bank is like a portable battery
where you can hook your portable devices up and charge on the go. It is
compact, lightweight and is about the size of an average mobile phone. You just
have to plug it in to your home wall outlet to pack in all the power that you
need to bring with you and off you go. It is very convenient to use and can
charge USB port powered devices such as mobile phones, GPS, media players,
cameras and tablet PCs. It is a very important innovation since a lot of
batteries on the market right now especially those that are installed on the
power hungry devices such as tablet PCs and GPS can only hold as much power.
Sure thing you can plug in anytime on any available wall socket that you could
find in establishments like restaurants, coffee shops, malls and the like but think
of the trouble that you have to go through in looking for one especially when
you are traveling. I am definitely going to get myself a unit or two of these
portable power banks to get rid of the anxiety of running out of power on a
busy day. I will definitely get mine from Lazada Philippines since they are
currently running a promotion on these power banks. Like what I have said
earlier, it is called the keep charged and carry on, never run out of battery
with mobile power banks promotion up to 48% off. Yes you heard that right they
are running discounts of up to 48% on these cool stuff to keep your gadgets
running wherever you are.

Lazada Philippines’ excellent shipment service and more- A Review
Do
you hate having to wait for personnel to assist you because the whole store is
filled with last minute holiday shoppers? Do you wish you could just finish
everything on your errand list without having to compete with a thousand more
upset mothers like yourself? Well, I have put up with that for far too long
which is why I was extremely ecstatic when I heard about Lazada Philippines. It’s nothing fancy
or super out of the ordinary but it does get the work done. It looks simple but
in reality, it has made millions of lives a lot easier in the span of less than
two years it has been published online. Its concept is basic. It sells products
of different kinds making the choices a lot broader than those sites with
specialties. You get the satisfaction of having all you need in one underrated
online shopping site.
Free delivery services are
ultimately the reason why I always resolve to shopping online. It makes
shopping a whole lot easier because regardless of how many or little in number
my order/s is/are, I can be assured that it will get to me in good condition
especially with the shipments being performed by LBC who I have had the
privilege of using before. I don’t have a car and I’m too cheap to ride a cab
all the way home so getting free delivery service definitely benefits me a lot
more than others.
One of the things that probably
swayed people into checking out Lazada Philippines is their never-ending banner
promotions online making it impossible for a regular online user to miss it.
But what ultimately makes the customers stay is the kind of service it can
offer and provide all at the same time. Quality products carried out by quality
customer service and more. One thing I like most about this online shopping
website is the multiple methods of payments they have made available on their
site. There are a wide range of Filipino shoppers today and each one of them
prefers a specific payment method over another. Since the internet can be a
little tricky sometimes, it’s essential for a customer to have the utmost
confidence in the way they pay. And
having a lot of options increases the chances of a random site passerby to
consider buying from a site. Imagine encountering a website that only accepts
payments via credit card and you don’t have any. This automatically makes it
impossible for you to perform any means of transaction with the website unless
of course you borrow from someone else.
Lazada makes shopping a great
experience because on top of all this, the orders are delivered straight to the
buyer’s house sometimes with or without delivery fees. Think about how easier
it is to get something you like you see over the internet and not have to just
reserve it online then drive to the store to claim it. Now, you can just wait
comfortably in your houses and wait until a delivery man ships your order. It’s
really amazing what the internet is capable of doing for us now compared to
before.

Lazada Philippines took care of my fashion emergency- A Review
I love shopping for clothes online.
Recently I have gotten into Lazada
Philippines and have been getting my clothes from them. I am into fashion big time, I can’t bear to
be seen donned in the same outfit twice. That is a no-no for me and in itself a
fashion faux-pas. My current line of work in an advertising firm allows me to
enjoy my fashion proclivities on a regular basis given the fact that our office
does not impose a strictly corporate dress code. The theme in the office if I
am going to put it into words is “be yourself”.
I am not a fashion victim
either, I don’t buy clothes just because of trends. As much as possible, I would
like to stay away from that kind of fashion trap. My fashion mantra is comfort,
fit, form and function. The clothes that I am wearing should be comfortable and
should not get in the way of my work while at the same time being unique and
completely different from what everyone else is wearing. To look different and
unique, I usually try to mix and match stuff from my closet. During weekends,
my favorite pastime is digging through my closet to look for clothes that I
have not worn in a while and match them with my recent purchases. I would spend
hours and hours wearing them in-front of my mirror like a little fashion show.
Also, I keep tabs of combinations that I really love in a journal. I would draw
the clothes, shoes and accessories on my journal and put a date when I am going
to wear them just to make sure that I don’t wear the same set twice. It is a
tedious practice but I have gotten used to it and it is really not that tedious
for me anymore because I love what I am doing. For the past months, I have been
getting my fashion fix from Lazada because of its convenience. It’s so easy to
place an order plus the items arrive no later than five days. A couple of weeks
ago I ordered something modest looking to wear for our fun theme day. The theme
is business casual (so much for a fun theme day). I looked around Lazada Ph as
usual and went through all the women’s fashion pages. It took me several hours
to pick one up that will suit my fancy because of the vast array of great
choices.
After several self- deliberations and consultations with my
girlfriends, I decided to settle a green MALDITA dress which is as modest as I
want it to be without looking square. I paid for it using my credit card and
had it shipped out to my office address. It arrived after three business days
like it used to. It was quite a busy day at the office when it was delivered so
I simply accepted the package and signed the receipt. I didn’t have the
opportunity to check the box if it was the right color and size. When I got
home, I found out that they sent me an orange dress instead of the green one
that I picked out. I called customer service to complain and the guy told me
that I just need to fill out a return form and they will take care of it. True
enough the replacement dress arrived several days later from the time I
returned the item. They even reimbursed me for the shipping cost I incurred for
returning it through my credit card.
