Lazada: Reliability from different angles

There are many facets to an online shopping website’s reliability and the factors that will make you say that a website is absolutely reliable. Reliability can be a lot of things when it comes to online shopping. Things that people normally look at are the payment options, safety of transactions, delivery timeframes and the ability to deliver the items on time and in excellent and mint condition as well as who the online shopping website is partnered with in terms of delivery. Given all of these factors, let us take things apart and discuss to check if our favorite online shopping website, the Philippines’ online shopping mall is a reliable website that can be trusted with our hard earned money. I have done my research and have also tried ordering a few things off Lazada Philippines and I would say that they are absolutely, definitely 100% reliable. Enough said and here are the things that I found out about them that will back my argument down to the core.

Payment methods – as we probably know already, Lazada Ph offers its consumers various payment options that will suit every shoppers needs. How does that relate to reliability? Well in my book, reliability is also the ability to be flexible in any type of situation thrown at you. Being reliable means being able to throw down whatever the circumstances are and that is how Lazada rolls. The multiple payment methods that they currently have means that they have this capacity to be flexible for their customers and that is reliability right there. It does not matter what you have, be it a credit card or cold hard currency Lazada’s got it down for you 100%. They got credit card payments, Dragon Pay (an alternative online payment system that utilizes the Philippines’ banking networks and other non-traditional establishments like convenience stores and pawnshops to process your payment and best of all it is credit card-free) and of course, last but not the least the cash on delivery service which is my personal preference when it comes to paying for my Lazada orders second to the credit card payment method (I am a credit card guy by the way and cash on delivery is just an alternative for me if I don’t feel like using my credit card for some reason)

Badge or seal of safety – most legit online shopping websites that deal with credit card transactions are sanctioned and audited by PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), a council originally put together by big name financial institutions like American Express, Visa International, Mastercard Worldwide, JCB and Discover Financial Services aimed at establishing security standards and protocols that online companies dealing with credit card payments should follow to ensure the security and safety of their customers financial information thus minimizing security threats, fraud losses and identity theft. LAzada Philippines, take a wild guess… definitely bears the PCI-DSS logo on their website. An assurance that your credit information is safe and also a prime indicator that they are a reliable online entity that passionate online shoppers like you and me can trust.

Lazada: More payment options equals worry-free shopping

Among the many good reasons why I shop a lot in Lazada is the payment method. I mean payment methods collectively because there are three of them. They got of course payment through credit cards, they got Dragon Pay and the most convenient of all and most shoppers favorite the cash on delivery payment service. I have been waiting for a long time for a local online shopping website that offers multiple payment methods and not just the standard credit card payment. That has been my problem for a long time and the reason why I never shopped online. I never had a credit card, I never ever even attempted to sign up for one because of my worry about my finances getting haywire. That’s because it is easy to shop and buy things based on your impulse if you got a credit card on you. Self-discipline is a very difficult task, it takes a lot of focus, energy and concentration. Buying things at impulse is so easy when you are holding a credit card as opposed to actual cash because there is this perception on the surface of your brain that you are just swiping a piece of plastic no big deal and all you see are charges on your billing statement unlike actual cash where you could actually see the money going away and makes think twice whether to spend it or not to spend it.

So going back to the payment methods in Lazada, the cash on delivery payment service is my payment method of choice because it is a non-complicated way to make a payment and it is also less-risky. It makes online shopping as simple as shopping in an actual shopping mall where you get your hands on the item immediately after you pay. It also puts your mind at ease whenever you are buying expensive gadgets online. It also takes away the worry of losing the item during delivery since you have not put up some money up-front yet unlike how it is when you are using credit card as a method of payment. I could recall during the holiday season last year when I bought my wife a Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet where I put the payment method on the cash on delivery basis, the thing with that order was that due to the holiday rush the delivery sort of got a little bit delayed but since I opted to pay for it on the cash on delivery basis, I did not worry about not even a single bit.

Another payment method that they have is Dragon Pay, this payment method is also a credit card-less payment system that utilizes the Philippine banking networks and other non-traditional establishments like convenience stores, remittance centers, pawnshops and other similar business establishments. How it works is that it allows you to go to your nearest convenience store and deposit cash as payment for the item that you ordered and that payment will be tracked and remitted to Philippines' Online Shopping Mall just like how it is when you pay your utility bills at 7-11. So there you have it, there’s no reason why you should not take advantage of the benefits of online shopping in Lazada because it is so easy to pay and shopping is absolutely risk-free.

Lazada: It’s always a blast browsing around

When it comes to time I have spent doing online shopping, I can say that I have been doing it long enough. Really long enough like more than five years for me to be able to confidently spot a good online shopping website at a glance and comparing it against the not so good ones. Most of my online shopping was done through online shopping websites located overseas usually shopping websites located in the United States of course you got names like amazon.com, pricegrabber.com, shopzilla, bizrate, shopathome, woot and a whole lot of others. Since these websites are located outside of the country, I would normally have to contend with issues like delays in shipping and stuff like that which is very natural considering the distance that the item I bought has to travel to reach me and that was the exact reason why for the longest time I have been dreaming of an online shopping website that is closer to home. Well not just closer to home but at home literally like something that is located locally. That was why I was really thrilled when I heard that a local online shopping website is going to be launched in the Philippines by an overseas company and it is called Lazada. It is one of the first online shopping companies launched on our shores that has the quality and looks comparable and at par with online shopping companies located outside of the country.

The website totally looks first-rate and well thought out. It is beautiful and stunning in a simple kind of way. The lines flow freely, the graphics pop out and there is this uncanny sense of symmetry that I could not really explain, I mean the best explanation and word the will sum up the design of the site is equilibrium and balance. It is simply relaxing to look at, soothing to the eyes and at the same time entertaining. These superlatives might not make a lot of sense to the uninitiated but sure speaks a lot to the aesthete like me. Anyway, moving on to the meat of the matter, let’s discuss the shopping categories which is one of the most important part of the online shopping experience ( what is online shopping anyway if there are no items or shopping categories right? You came to an online shopping website to shop right? Lol)  Okay here is the shopping categories listed in the order that they appear on the website itself. Lazada Ph have the following very exciting online shopping categories: mobiles and tablets, computers and laptops, consumer electronics, cameras, home and living, home appliances, toys and babies, fashion and accessories, watches, health and beauty, travel and luggage, sports and books music and movies. What I basically love about these shopping categories is that it covers a lot of items, they simply got the basics covered which is kinda similar to what regular shopping malls offer (when I say regular shopping malls, I mean the actual air-conditioned malls that people are very fond to hang around in) I always get a blast browsing around and I suggest you start getting in on the ride too.

Lazada: Enjoy secured and safe shopping

Online shopping is gradually catching up in the Philippines and being adopted not just as an alternative means of shopping but a natural way of shopping. Thanks to Lazada online shopping is no longer a novelty. This online shopping website have started a revolution of sorts and of course they revolutionized the online shopping industry by introducing innovations that has made online shopping accessible, convenient and feasible for every Juan in the Philippines. The steady ascend of the number of local consumers and shoppers that does online shopping comes from the fact that Internet connection in the country is very easy to come by. Thanks to our excellent communications infrastructure that made our country primed for the emerging e-commerce business. The excellent and strategic communications infrastructure was also the main reason why the Philippines has been a BPO hot spot and has allowed us to compete with other countries like India. Anyway, online shopping definitely has a place to go here in the Philippines as evidenced by the huge influx of online shopping websites. However, along with the influx of these online shopping websites comes the question of reliability. Like how reliable are the websites and how a new online shopper can distinguish which ones are legit and which ones are not. If you are a new online shopper, don’t fret though because online shopping is safe if you know how to spot the reliable ones as opposed to those websites that are quite vulnerable. Here are some of the things that one should do before getting into any transactions with an online shopping company

#1. Read the reviews. Check out what people has to say about the online shopping website you are getting into. Blogs and forums are great places to check out what other consumers opinion of a certain online shopping website is. You will mostly come across un-biased feedbacks on these forums which is great and very helpful for you in making an informed decision.

#2. Subscribe to the website’s mailing list. A reliable online shopping website normally emails their subscribers with information about new products and promotions available on the website

#3. Give their customer service toll free number a buzz to check if it is working and if there is someone manning the phones. If the phone number does not ring or no one is picking up then chances are you are dealing with a not so scrupulous entity.

#4. Check if the company provides its shoppers alternative ways to make a payment. Reliable companies are normally flexible when it comes to accepting payments for their products and does not just stick to credit card payments.

#5. Last but not the least on the list (hmm that phrase rolls off the tongue quite easily ain’t it?) is the seal of certification coming from PCI-DSS. PCI-DSS is some sort of a council or committee comparable to ISO that sets the standard of security for online shopping companies involved in processing credit card payments. This company ensures that the website is secured by conducting annual audits on the safety procedures of online shopping companies. Having their logo on the website is a guarantee that your transactions are safe and secured.

Lazada Philippines pretty much got everything covered in regards to the items on this list which means that the site is absolutely safe and reliable. Enjoy worry-free online shopping in the Philippines’ online shopping mall.

Lazada’s practical take on methods of payments

Are you looking for a new way to get your hands on this upcoming summer’s must-haves? Try shopping online and experience shopping in a whole other level. You don’t have to worry so much about not being able to afford the things that appeal to you because there are thousands of promos being launched everyday that you can use as your ticket way in to ultimate shopping heaven. Unlike before, online users can now purchase what they like from the internet in a single click of a button. But don’t be afraid if you’re hearing this possibility for the first time. It’s guaranteed to make your life ten times easier. You don’t only get to save on additional expenses but you also get the treat of looking at just about anything using your computer. It’s not a lot different from the act of actually buying malls. The concept remains true to itself but the manner of achieving this has become so convenient, it would be a shame for the generation today not to embrace it until it becomes too hyped up.
Lazada is an online store that deals with Filipino customers all over the Philippines. Sometimes even from different parts of the world. They sell their products in pesos so you don’t have to worry about the constant decrease in pesos-dollar exchange rates. Filipinos should be happy about this but because so many Filipinos are working abroad, they don’t see the potential in this type of change. If the idea of having to purchase in dollars means having my peso bills exchanged to a rate that constantly changes, then I won’t really be able to measure the true value of what I bought. Being able to buy something directly in the currency I’m comfortable with allows me to make better judgments.
Since more people are getting involved in online shopping, more options have to be created to fit the diverse preferences of online shoppers. But sometimes some things are better when made as simple as possible. Especially if the simple stuff can encapsulate the basic needs of the customer. With this thought comes the existence of two payment methods Lazada makes use of. Cash on delivery is a cash-based payment where customers are allowed to pay in cash. In this method, the payment takes place during the actual delivery. This extinguishes the possibility of any fraud because the product must first be delivered before the customer is asked to pay. The second and last method they have is based on credit cards. It’s what most online sites make use of now. This secures the order ahead of time having nothing to worry about anymore when the actual delivery takes place. The customer will be asked to fill out a form asking for personal information that needs to be submitted before the order is shipped out from the warehouse.

Online shopping is a great online adventure anyone can take part in. You can finally enjoy your days off from the house but still be able to run some errands.
